  1. My husband is also Marine combat vet, 100% disabled service connected. He is the most patient, kind, and caring person I have ever met. In 11 years, he has never even yelled at me and I couldn’t imagine him getting physical. He was a nurturing father to my difficult at times son, who now looks up to him so much he is following in his footsteps and is now a Marine, also. He struggles with his PTSD as well, and has his rough days (and nights). He’s not perfect, but my husband is a better man than most that are out there. It’s sad that people buy into these stereotypes; they don’t know what they’re missing.
